Unglued Booster Draft
We found ourselves with two boxes of Unglued. What to do with them? The only thing we could do: an April Fools Booster Draft. It was a fantastic event, which shall be rivaled only by the Unhinged Release Event we will have in November.

The players wait for the Draft to start with great anticipation.

This is me...using the Knight of the Hokey Pokey.

Players enjoying the festivities.

Volrath's Motion Sensor requires a player to balance a card on his hand or take damage.

Prismatic Wardrobe destroys a card that is a color other than a color that the controler wears. I lacked blue, so I improvised.

After a hard night's draft it was time for a most peculiar redraft. It's not often you see basic lands out with the rares.
Heroclix
Charles continues to serve us as one of the best Heroclix judges in the Pioneer Valley. In April, our attendance rose stedily, peaking at a dozen players at the Marquee Event.

One of our more modest regular Sunday night events.

The Store bulges at the seams with Heroclix players at the Marquee.

Charles surveys the scene at the Marquee.

The skilled and proud winner and fellowship winner of the Marquee Event.
All That Other Stuff

Erin and Pete engage in one of their regular battles of wits over a game of Volcano using the giant Icehouse pieces.

Why play Risk 2210? Because Nukes make anything better!

Easter would not be complete without a cake shaped like a rabbit. Elisa is truly a cake wizard.

Chris shows Jason the finer points of boffer weapon construction during our boffer weapon workshop.

At Phoenix Games, we pride ourselves on hosting a very mature and proper gaming facility. Silliness is not tolerated.

This is not a game of Vampire. This is not a game of Legend of the Five Rings. This is what happens when I play a cleric deck in a Magic: the Gathering booster draft and the other player doesn't start up fast enough. The bottom half is my stuff. Yes, there are two rows of creatures there.

My Tuesday night Dungeons and Dragons game actually reached nine players. The nice thing about having good players is that running a game with 9 of them does not make my brains come out of my ears.
Parting is such sweet sorrow. This is all we have for April, but keep an eye out for May: Female Gamer Appreciation Month. With all the events planned for that month, it should be quite a gallery.
