Phoenix Games is honored to host Mercutio Wilder's playtest of his new role playing game based on Warhammer 40K. He and his playtest group meet at Phoenix Games every other Saturday.

While not an official regular event, Sunday afternoon is fast becoming the time for strategy games. October brought us ATTACK! with Expansion and Advanced Civilization. The Anniversary had us playing 1870, but that's a picture for next month.

Is there anything we can't do here? This is a picture of the Rocky Horror Picture Show cast from South Hadley rehearsing in our gaming area.

Toast? Why is there a picture of toast? One Saturday, I was asked to make toast for the Crap Bags for the Rocky Horror Picture Show at Tower Theaters in South Hadley. On my way into the theater, a kid saw the bag containing the toast and asked, "Is that a bag of bread?" I replied, "That's rediculous! Why would I have a bag of bread? It's a bag of toast!" And I continued on my way.

Killian makes nice with the plush Grey before taking him (her? it?) home.

Oh, to be a Munchkin card.

Halloween wanders through Phoenix Games. Although we did not have any official Halloween event, we still had a few customers come by in fabulous costumes. On the left is Chris in his Phantom of the Opera costume. On the left is our Heroclix Judge in his Battlestar Galactica costume made from the exact same material and pattern as the actual show costumes.

Heroclix continues to go great thanks to our hardworking judge Charles. The tournaments are every Sunday at 6:00 PM. While I don't play Heroclix myself, the players do seem to have quite a lot of fun at it.

Jay Sherman is trying to become our Mechwarrior Battlemaster so we can run MechWarrior events. Unfortunately, when he sent in the paperwork, they informed him that, according to the government, he is dead. Yes, dead, not breathing, six feet under, dead. This picture shows Bill checking Jay's pulse to determine if he is in fact dead. Bill says he is not.

Erin shows off her sexy pirate costume, made up entirely of garb that Phoenix Games can get for you.

Carl, our armourer, shows off some of his handy work in his expertly crafted Halloween costume.
